"Tall Pines Conservancy’s mission is to preserve our rural heritage by protecting remaining farmland,
water resources, natural areas and open spaces impacting Northwestern Waukesha County."
TPC Annual Report - (To View Report, Click Here)

The Tall Pines Conservancy is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax exempt land trust operating in beautiful northwestern Waukesha County, Wisconsin. To date the nature conservancy has preserved over 237 acres through purchase and donated easements. In the coming months we will be identifying parcels in the NW portion of the county which are critical to the rural character of the area in which we all live.

As an accredited land trust, The Tall Pines Conservancy is able to receive donations of land, easements, and development rights. In addition the Conservancy will raise funds to purchase and protect land. All donations, whether financial or in kind are tax deductible to the donor.

A land trust is a private, community based, non-profit organization established to protect land and water resources for the public benefit. The term "trust" means the resource is made permanently safe against undesired development. One of the most important roles of a land trust is to work with landowners concerned about protecting their land and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. Land trusts provide advice on protection strategies that best meet the landowner's conservation objective.

A land trust also provides educational assistance to individuals interested in learning more about land preservation techniques and steward-ship of our natural resources. The Tall Pines Conservancy will be able to help landowners identify the best land protection options available for their particular situation and objectives. We will also provide information regarding natural resources including preserving and upgrading the quality of our lakes and streams.

We welcome your involvement with The Tall Pines Conservancy through financial support, volunteer time, and comments or suggestions. If you are interested in supporting the Conservancy, a conservation easement, or learning more about us, please contact us.
